A Fine Art Original Watercolour We took our guests from our painting holiday in Umbria, Italy to the picturesque hilltop town of Anghiari in Tuscany. It’s famous for a battle that took place between Milan and Florence in 1440. The enticing narrow streets and alleyways provide plenty of subject matter for the guests to paint. I did a couple of small sketchbook watercolours of this scene on the spot which provided inspiration for this larger studio painting.
