An original watercolour painting which was inspired by sketchbook studies made on location. We had travelled to Sur in Oman for the second time. Omani men were performing the friendly Razah Dance of the Swords. The dancing was accompanied by chanting and drumming. I spent considerable time enjoying the process of observing the fluid movements and overall spectacle in the late afternoon sunlight.
