According to Article 3 of Regulation (EU) 2019/1148, the sale of fuels with a higher nitromethane content is only possible to professional users, which are natural or legal persons or a public entity or a group of such persons or entities that have a demonstrable need for a restricted explosives precursor for purposes related to their trade, business or profession. Their identity shall be verified and the sale recorded. Records must be kept for at least 5 years and made available for inspection by the competent authorities on request.
