Please remember to remove the Bee Pin before lighting these beeswax pillar candles and keep the wick trimmed to approximately a quarter of an inch or 5mm high to avoid too high of a flame. Wide beeswax candles like these require thick cotton wicks of which produce a higher flame therefore thicker cotton wicks are required to produce enough heat to melt the wax. Trim wicks approximately every couple of hours for best results.
