It, too, was probably written in the early 1890s when he was still playing a six or seven stringed banjo with one of the bass strings permanently tuned to D, but there all similarities end, because it is a very different kind of solo. It is subtitled ‘Schottische’ and is full of triplets and dotted quavers which Morley probably played at quite a fast tempo.
